Jimmy Van M hooked
up with a studio partner, Sean Cusick to start writing music under the names
Eros Euphony, The Escape Artists, and Freelance Icebreakers. Together, they
quickly put together two Eps of tracks that got the attention of some of the
best DJs around including Dave Seamen from Stress Recordings. Stress snapped
the duo to a 1-year contract.
In 1997,
Jimmy's DJing career continued to take its climb. He traveled with partner
Chris Fortier to do a mini-tour of the country set by close friend like John
Digweed and playing at the clubs like Sugar shack and Cream. In 1998, he
returned playing at the best clubs in Scotland, Leeds, Manchester, Ireland,
London, Ibiza and Spain. Same, while being off tour, Jimmy has produced
"More" under the name Van M/Leeds, which was soon released on Digweed's
Bedrock label. In late summer 1999, Jimmy headed overseas again to play Home
,Heaven, Renaissance and Empire.
Jimmy Van M can be found djing all over the
world and continues to climb to the top.
