Since 1970s, DJing had taken off at a serious rate.
The number from what it was back then and now has doubled. Not to
notice, that everyday there are djs popping out like new born babies.
Presently, half of the DJs that are well recognized have probably been
in the scene for 15-20 years. Sounds like a long time for that
recognition, but it is all true; this is not something that happens over
night. It took some time before they all have mastered the perfection of
mixing non stop, performance events with the music that takes almost
everyone to a state of trance. |

Although,
if you have experienced live music at the raves, concerts, performance
events, clubs… etc and
think it is easy to what some of the biggest and well recognized Djs do,
there is one thing that should be stated wisely in. Do
not get yourself fooled! It takes months and months, if not years to
master a skill of blending music. So if you are a newbie to this do not
get ahead of yourself, but instead take your time. It is important to
remember that having a one day experience of DJing, should not be taking
into a consideration of already being a master at it. Take everything a
slow pace, acknowledge yourself with equipment you are using. The best
way to get started is to go check out some of the DJs perform live. Do
indeed take some notes, how are Djs gets everyone’s attention, how does
he or she establish his connection to the audience, what are the choices
of music he or she is playing. These are the important factors to
remember, because one day you are going to be rocking the crowd and the
way you will present yourself, is the way everything is going to
remember you by. |
