During summer of 1994, Saeed Younan and Palash Ahmed met before they entered their first semester at Virginia Commonwealth University. Both of them were involved in Washington’s electronic club scene. Saeed was born in Iraq and came to the United States when he was 13, Palash was born Bangladesh, who came to the United States when he was 8. The reason that brought them together was the two had a common vision for music they wanted to produce. As their career started they started DJin together as Saeed & Palash in local Washington nightclubs.

Later on, the pair have headlined at clubs such as Twilo, Cream, Axis, Pacha, Space, Buzz, Bedrock, Aria, Vinyl and Release. They have also played at festivals worldwide, including: the United Kindoms’s leading electronic music festival ‘Homelands’ and ‘Black and Blue’ the world’s largest indoor party. The duo have also shared the same stagea as international DJ superstars Sasha and John Digweed. Saeed and Palash are booked worldwide by Sasha’s Excession Agency, who also keep talents Sandra Collins, Sander Kleinenberg, Hybrid, and Steve Lawler in the worlds hottest nightclubs. In North America, the two are promoted by Producer Artist Management who also handles DJs Dimitri from Paris and Paul Van Dyk.

Saeed and Palash also receive numerous remix offers. They choose projects that allows them to utilize their creative energy while maintaining their signature sounds. Their remix of Celeda’s ‘The Underground’ has been played from top DJ’s around the world, which also resulted in Billboard chart as number one hit single. With such creativeness, John Digweed was also so impressed with their sounds that he asked the duo to remix his popular track ‘Voices.’ Saeed and Palash have also taken on projects from artists such as Frankie Goes to Hollywood ‘Relax’, Da Junkies ‘Fab Planet’, Kylie Minogue ‘In Your Eyes’, and Puncher ‘The Wall’. Away from remixing, together everywhere they perform, they leave crowds craving their hypnotic, abstract, and smooth sets.
